Tom’s Message – May 2017

I’m happy to share some great important news from one of the industry’s top analyst groups. Gartner has just issued the updated 2017 Magic Quadrant for Contact Center Infrastructure (CCI MQ).

This influential report evaluates contact center vendors on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. Based upon Gartner’s independent analysis, vendors are placed within one of four quadrants: visionaries, niche players, challengers and leaders.

Genesys has been named leader for the ninth consecutive year. But it gets better. This year, Gartner placed Genesys in the furthest top right corner. This placement makes us the undisputed leader in terms of “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute.”

The report called out our three product portfolios:

  • PureEngage for businesses with complex customization requirements
  • PureConnect for those with moderately complex needs who value a tightly integrated all-in-one platform
  • PureCloud for businesses that want easy-to-deploy functionality and require only basic customization

I’ve often heard it asked: Why is the Gartner Magic Quadrant so important? It’s validation for both of us. Your due diligence in evaluating Genesys solutions reflects an evaluation by a top industry analyst. For Genesys, it’s a testament to our strategy—where we invest resources—and the recent acquisition of Interactive Intelligence.
